lamps, designed and handcrafted in the Carmel Mountains of Israel, are born from a deep connection to nature and a fascination with human sensuality. They are a form of applied art that brings vibrant beauty and presence through natural materials—inviting people to create sensual spaces, live in an atmosphere that move them, connect with loved ones in this unique vibe, and celebrate intimacy.
“KAVANU” from Hebrew it means: we choose to meet and to bring into this togetherness our full presence and awareness.
ABOUT PRODUCTS
The process of creation begins with cutting a dry palm pod from the Queen palm (Syagrus romanzoffiana), also known as the cocos palm. After basic cleaning and shaping the pod into its final form, we gather together to envision the design, collect the necessary materials, explore the composition, and continue the creative journey with each individual lamp.
Along the way:
> we discover beauty in structure, color, and the play of light on crystals—both raw and polished—as well as in the pod and its base;
> we paint the wood with colors and treat it for durability;
> we explore the strength and flexibility of metals, working with brass and copper;
> we carefully construct each element—plug, switch, metal connectors, bulbs, and wiring—selecting every detail with precision until the final result is completely harmonious.
These high-quality floor and table lamps bring vibrant beauty to daylight hours and evoke a deeper, more atmospheric mood in the dark. The dance between materials—the earthy depth of crystals, the strength of iron, and the organic structure of wood—infuses raw nature into any space.
